ADA Payment Options

There are several ways to pay for your ADA fare!

Important Notice for ADA Paratransit Riders
Effective December 1, 2025

Dear Rider,

Beginning December 1, 2025, all ADA paratransit trips provided by Special Services Transportation Agency (SSTA) will require payment of the $4 per trip fare. Riders who have not paid will not be able to board or schedule trips until their fare is paid.

Riders are also expected to pay any outstanding account balance. Please contact or work with SSTA staff to review your balance and discuss available payment options.

SSTA now offers additional, more convenient payment methods, including digital payment through Token Transit. If you need help setting up Token Transit or would like to learn more about other ways to pay, please ask SSTA staff for assistance.

Please note that the College Street area, which was previously fare-free, will also be subject to the $4 ADA paratransit fare beginning December 1, 2025. This area covers approximately three-quarters from College Street, between the Burlington Waterfront and the UVM Medical Center.

Call our call center between 7:30 am and 4:30 pm to purchase a punch ticket with a credit card or mail our office a check for $40.00.

Punch tickets allow you to pre purchase 10 one-way trips. Show the driver your card and the driver will then punch one hole each time you ride.
